  • GirlsHealth.gov is a site to help adolescent girls (ages 10-16) learn more about some of the unique health issues and social situations they will encounter during the teen years. The Parent/Caregiver section provides resources and links to helpful information for parents, to help you prepare to deal with some of the issues adolescent girls will likely face.

Childbirth Classes:
  • Child Birth classes are held at the Harris Birthing Center at Huron Valley
    Sinai Hospital. Please call 248-937-3619 for fees and registration. Online
    registration is at WWW.HVSH.ORG. The Birth Awareness classes consist of 4
    classes that are held Weekdays and Saturdays. One time class topics include
    Bringing Baby Home, Birth Review, Breastfeeding: Nature's Way, Big Kids
    Class, CPR For Family and Friends and Gestational Diabetes. The Harris
    Birthing Center also has Postpartum Disorder Support Groups. Tours of the
    Harris Birthing Center can be scheduled by calling 248-937-5220. Please
